As the name suggests, Winterland offers wintery activities and fun for the whole family on the Peurunka beach area.

The happiest outdoor moments of winter are spent in Winterland!

  • Long sledging hill
  • NOTE! The hill can be slippery at times, so we recommend wearing a helmet when sledding!
  • Next to the hill is a new grill area by the beach.

Sleds, toboggans, sliders, and tubes are available for loan to hotel guests. Customers from the nearby area are kindly asked to bring their own to ensure enough for everyone.

Peurunka Winterland is open:

  • 8.1. – 18.2. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 am – 8 pm
  • 19.2. – 10.3. Every day from Monday to Sunday from 9 am – 8 pm
  • 11.3. – 24.3. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 am – 8 pm
  • 28.3. – 1.4. Thursday to Monday from 9 am – 8 pm

During Winterland opening hours:

* The hills are groomed for sledding, and they are illuminated
* Sleds, sliders, and tubes are available for hotel guests to borrow”

Additional information

  • Sledding at Winterland is at your own risk.
  • Consider smaller sledders.
  • Those coming from the top and from behind should yield to those in front.
  • Good manners and a cheerful attitude ensure everyone has a pleasant sledding experience.

Arriving at Peurunka Winterland

The area is just a short walk from the hotel facilities. Head towards the beach area, and you’ll arrive in no time!

Sleds, sliders, and tubes for sledding are available free of charge for hotel guests.

Parking

If you arrive at Peurunka by car, you can park along the roadside in front of the spa or continue further ahead: after the spa, on the left side of the road, there is a row house, followed by a large parking area. Parking in the area is free.

You can enjoy your picnic at the beach in the barbecue shelter

At the beach area, there is a barbecue shelter where you can enjoy your meals by the fire. The barbecue shelter is equipped with firewood and kindling.

You can purchase picnic supplies from Bistro Nemo. We recommend reserving your picnic in advance using the link below!
