The Saraakallio Experience Center is opening soon!
Located in Laukaa, the Saraakallio Rock Paintings are the most extensive in Fennoscandia – and they’re 7,000 years old. Now this magnificent site is becoming even more accessible to the public with the opening of the Saraakallio Experience Center at Peurunka.
At the Experience Center, you’ll dive thousands of years into the past, exploring stories, ancient art, and traces left by people in the heart of nature. The center offers joy, memorable experiences, and hands-on activities for all ages. Upcoming features include a climbing wall for school-aged children, rock painting, and ancient mysticism brought to life through sound and video.
